2-3TbspTruffle OilMore or less to suite your desired flavor intensity
1TbspWorcestershire Sauce
1TbspBalsamic Vinegar
1tspSalt
1tspBlack Pepper
1tspPaprika
1-2tspGarlic Powder
1tspRosemary
1tspSteak Seasoning(your favorite Steak Seasoning will do)
Instructions
Combine all the Marinade ingredients in a glass bowl, whisk to mix thoroughly. (You may use a freezer bag for a less messy option.)
Add the steak to the marinade, flipping and making sure every part of the steak is covered by the marinade.
Cover the bowl with cling film and set aside in a refridgerator to marinade for atleast an hour or overnight for best results
When you are ready to cook, bring out the steak from the refridgerator and set in on the countertop or table and allow it to warm up to room temperature. This should take about 30 minutes or more, depending on how cold your refridgerator is. Avoid cooking cold steak 'cos you won't be able to get a good sear and caramelization on the meat.
Add a splash of cooking oil to a heated pan (use a cast iron skillet for best results), and sear your steak on both sides for about 2 minutes per side. When you are done with the two main steak surfacees, flip the steak to get a good sear around the corners and edges. This would add so much color and flavor to your steak.
Add the fresh rosemary and butter to the pan and let the butter melt. As soon as it melts, begin to baste the steak with the butter. Continue to baste with the butter for 1-2 minutes. (See the irecipe video for a demonstration).
For a medium-rare steak, the total cooktime should be about 7 minutes
Remove the steak from the pan and set on a platter or plate to rest for atleast 5 miunte.
Slice up your steak and serve. Enjoy!
